Getting Started
Copy all included files into an ADC2 game folder created for this
module, it is recommended that all your modules be placed in
separate folders. It is *assumed* that you know how to use the ADC2
program, and own a copy of the game the module is for.

This module requires that you have the latest update of ADC2 from
HPS Simulations. This can be obtained from www.hpssims.com or HPS
direct.

Notes on game design

1.	The ADC2 version of this game is identical to the original,
however a few comments must be made to clarify some points.

2.	All the units are class defined. Only Leaders have additional
piece definitions.

3.	Units that have two steps have been associated with an
appropriate "flipped" symbol.

4.	There are several "pools" which include all the appropriate dead
piles and reinforcement pools. Note: The pool labeled "Hun-Allied
Draw Pool" serves as the Hun-Allied dead pile as well. Pools for the
various markers have also been created for easy retrieval.

5.	Neutral barbarians which have been "swayed" to one player or
the other (Rule Section 6.0) should have the appropriate "Hun-
Allied" or "Roman-Allied" control markers present in their stack of
units.

5.	Limits to Limitanei Mobilization (Rule 7.6): Provinces in which
the limitanei have been mobilized should be marked with the "no
limitanei" markers provided.

7.	All charts and tables are located in the "info-pages" for easy
reference. Also located in the info-pages is the Random Events
Table, however due to space limitations, the rulebook will have
to be consulted for amplification of the events.

8.	A separate "Battle Area" has been created in the left-hand
portion of the game map for all combat resolutions. There are "Field
Combat" markers provided in order to mark the Area in which the
combat is taking place. The Victory Point track is located in the lower
left-hand corner of the game map.

9.	Current game turns are kept track of by using the "game"
menu. Clear the replay and advance the turn at the appropriate time.

Piece and Class Values

All units are labeled as to their type and step strength (either 2 or 1).
All units labeled as heroic leaders have 2 steps. Non-heroic leaders
only have one step.

Each unit has the following information stored in its Piece and Class
values fields:

	Piece Class
	1. Name of Leader	1. Missile Combat Factor
					2. Charge Combat Factor
					3. Melee Combat Factor

Enjoy. Remember you are free to change anything you want, so dig in
and have fun.
